Twitition backs Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution
Head over to Twitition, our Twitter-based petition site, and you’ll see we’ve proudly pledged to support Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution campaign.
The charismatic TV chef is continuing his crusade to change eating habits in America and globally, by promoting healthy living through a balanced diet, introducing cooking courses and educational schemes on the nutritional value of the type of food people of all ages consume daily.
A crucial part of Jamie’s Food Revolution project is an online petition which went live in March 2010 and has since amassed over 700,000 signatures, including the support from celebrities such as Jennifer Aniston, Kim Kardashian and P. Diddy.
Jamie’s target, though, is to get one million signatures before delivering the petition in person to the White House – and this is where it’s hoped that a helping hand from Twitition can push him closer to reaching that goal.
After being approached by representatives from the Food Revolution camp to ask if we’d like to get involved in the initiative, our fantastic design team set about creating an eye-catching banner for Twitition to encourage the site’s users to sign Jamie’s petition.
We’re thrilled to help Jamie and the Food Revolution campaign out and we’re pleased that Twitition has been targeted to help raise awareness for such an important issue like reducing obesity and improving the quality of life for future generations.
