Links are good to the extent that they may bring traffic to your website. Ultimately it is the content that is responsible for the popularity of a website. If the content is zero, any kind of link will not be helpful in the popularity.

If you look at the numbers and hold in mind some basic seo rules,.. the outcome of this article could well be: Keep getting good link’s from lot’s of different places. Don’t make triangle link partner site’s on the same server and keep advertising in the real world.

I guess only rightmove.co.uk knows what they did in march 2008 and only they can see in their analytics if they are getting a lot of direct traffic or not.

Or can it be that the number 1 spot is just still driving a lot more traffic then the number 2 spot?
