Branded3 take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge
Fighting fit and raring to go (almost…); Branded3 are preparing for the physical challenge of the Yorkshire Three Peaks, all in the name of charity. From web designers and developers, to content writers and SEO experts; over half of the Branded3 office are currently training for the annual event, and they’re all eagerly – but anxiously – awaiting the 25-mile walk which covers three of the highest peaks in Yorkshire.
Every year, Heart Research UK holds a number of fundraising challenges – from sky diving, to singing – and this year; Branded3 thought they’d get involved in one of the most demanding and exhausting tasks, and raise as much as they can for the commendable charity.
The challenge takes place on the 18th June, and as well as wishing for decent weather; the Branded3 team are hoping they can complete the trek; as it requires a good level of fitness and stamina.
Whilst some haven’t begun their training yet, and others have already started practising the walk; the challenge is not to be taken lightly. Spanning 25 miles, and encompassing three mountainous climbs, the Pen-Y-Ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough; the walk involves a total ascent of over 1500 metres.

Although not a race, the official challenge is to complete the trek in under 12 hours; so if you reckon our team can swap their laptops and phones for walking boots and waterproofs, click here to donate, and show your support for Branded3.
