Digg changed the way their pages were displayed, which IMHO would have affected the rankings.

In my opinion, they really deserve it, like all the news aggregators, because they provide nothing useful, but only use others’ content.

Digg drop don’t surprize me at all. There are less chances everyday there to get nice amount of votes in natural way. No metter if you have interesting, original, usefull story. If you don’t have your own crew of voters, there is a small chance for success on Digg. So, let them drop when they don’t want resolve that members attitute.

That’s pretty true, I haven’t seen any digg story ranking up on Google for quite some time now. Following this, i was under the impression that Google has stopped valuing Digg.
