How a small gift can make a big impact on your social users

We received a lovely Christmas gift today courtesy of LeCafeShop a local, family-run business who create gourmet coffee products, and it got me thinking about how the presentation of a product can be a great asset for its PR and Social strategy.

Admit it, you love to show off about the lovely things that you receive and if they’re packaged all nicely and look impressive you’re likely to reach for your smartphone, take a photo and Instagram it before you even think about what you’re doing. Which is precisely what I did when Vin brought this gift over to show me this morning as you can see in my lovely (if I do say so myself) photo below.

And it turns out I’m not the only one, plenty of other Twitter users have been sharing their joy at receiving the gifts too.

I’m not surprised people are sharing their delight at receiving the gifts, the strap line is ‘Black as the Devil, Hot as Hell, Pure as an Angel, Sweet as Love’ and we couldn’t agree more, the coffee was exquisite!

So if you want to easily generate some social noise around your products, make sure you present them well and I’m sure you too will be seeing the Tweets and Instagram photos flooding in!
