We launch brand new site for Illamasqua

Branded3 has developed an all-new e-commerce website for growing make-up brand, Illamasqua.

Focusing on the user-journey and incorporating Illamasqua’s strong imagery and ground-breaking videos, the new site seeks to provide the customer with an unforgettable shopping experience.

Illamasqua is one of the fastest growing make-up brands in the country, and now has three stand-alone stores, as well as nine department store concessions, including one in Selfridges on London’s Oxford Street.

We wanted to build them a site which would reflect their increasing reputation in the industry, as well as their unique cult status.

We began by crafting user-centric wireframes, and used these to define the optimum journey through the site to maximise conversion. We then engineered a hybrid build which combined an industry-standard platform with bespoke elements, which met all objectives.

The result is a robust, interactive e-commerce site which boasts a fluid user journey from start to finish; ensuring the customer is given the essence of the Illamasqua brand on the way.

Now just a matter of weeks since the launch, the average daily traffic to the site has increased by 50%, and the e-commerce basket value has shot up.

We love working with such a distinctive and original brand, and we look forward to working on more exciting Illamasqua projects in the future.
