January is a huge month for the travel sector, so the Virgin Holidays team were keen for us to help them recover the site’s rankings from a Google penalty before the peak trading boom kicked in.

Despite the extremely tight time constraints, we managed to completely recover Virgin Holidays’ rankings before the start of the New Year.

We’ve embarked upon an extensive Outreach strategy, which includes identifying blogs and news sites with readerships which match Virgin Holiday’s target audience and placing unique content.
Our first task of recovering rankings proved hugely successful with an unbelievable impact on Virgin Holiday’s revenue. During the peak trading phase, we increased year-on-year non-brand traffic by a staggering 22.48%.
A recent flash mob campaign launched by the brand was significantly boosted by Branded3 integrating it with our creative outreach process. A campaign which was originally targeted to increase offline sales actually received an unprecedented amount of online coverage too, demonstrating our ability to work successfully across both mediums.
