After a lengthy period of testing we are pleased to launch a new product which allows companies to track telephone sales with the same accuracy and detail as e-commerce transactions.

Personally I think this is one of the best tools I’ve ever seen and am genuinely excited about it.
Call Metrics
The Call Metrics software integrates telephone call monitoring with popular web tools such as Google Analytics & AdWords conversion tracking as well as client CRM systems to provide the ultimate marketers dream – the ability to track ROI for marketing spend.

By setting up different telephone numbers for each marketing channel or sub-channel we can determine the source of your telephone sales and use this information to measure ROI more accurately than ever before.

You can allocate different telephone numbers to as many channels as you like, the following are some common suggestions:

  • Organic search
  • Paid search
  • TV ads
  • Referrals from a partner site
  • Referrals from a super affiliate
  • Banner campaigns
  • A specific generic keyword

The system works by routing phone calls through a telephone system which is integrated with a web server. Data is captured and made available via your Call Metrics login interface as well as being posted to your Google Analytics account.

      The Call Metrics product is brand new (we just developed it). There are other products on the market that do similar things though.

    I know of a North American company that can track and record calls. It is a dedicated number that is assigned that allows you use it for specific types of media so results can be tracked on your advertising efforts. You can login and view the detailed info about the call. It’s a good system.

    Love the idea of Google integration. Keep up the good work.

    hi we built something similar some time ago we also pass the referrer onto the contact form and assign a unique ID to each medium.. didint integrate it with a telephone numbering system though.. we rely upon the client to provide the unique telephone database.

    We’ve also found that a lot of CMS products can acheive the display of the UTN with minimal coding now so we stopped focussing on the product

    anyway good to see others are trying to solve the same issue.
