Red Hot World Buffet is a fun chain of restaurants in the UK which offers a buffet of cuisines from around the world.

The Challenge

Having suffered from a low engagement rate on Facebook, Red Hot World Buffet challenged us to increase the ‘likes’, talking about figure and reach of the brand across this social network.

We also added the objective to develop a direct link to social ROI by increasing footfall into the restaurants and attributing this specifically to the brand’s Facebook users.

The Strategy

Our approach was to instantly launch engaging Facebook campaigns using techniques and strategies to both re-engage current ‘likes’ and to reach out to friends of ‘likes’ via compelling campaigns and competitions.

Red Hot World Buffet also had Facebook pages for each specific restaurant location, each with ‘likes’ and check-ins. We merged these location pages into one Red Hot World Buffet HQ Facebook page as a main destination for customers.

Weekly campaigns and offers ensured a high level of and rapid growth in engagement with the brand as it quickly became the leading buffet restaurant chain in the UK.

After managing the Red Hot World Buffet Facebook page for three months, we had increased the brand’s reach across the platform by 700%, added a further 9,000 ‘likes’ to the Facebook page and implemented an average customer response time of 30 minutes.

Not only this, but the launch post for the Offer of the Week campaign was viewed by 320,761 people, making it the most viewed status ever on the brand’s Facebook page.
